CENTRAL CITY – Jeanetta Hornsby, 80, of Central City, died Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Continue Care in Madisonville. Born May 10, 1941, in Harlan County. She was a homemaker and member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Hornsby; sons Timmy Hornsby and George Hornsby; daughter Annetta Markwell; and grandson Scotty Hornsby.
Survivors include her sons, Melvin Edward Hornsby and Walter Hornsby; daughter Donna Amanda Graham; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Donnie Vickers; and sister Margaret Reynolds.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Larry Shadowen officiating. Burial will follow in Corley Chapel Cemetery.
