HOPKINSVILLE – Joyce Ann Hope Cook, age 86 of Hopkinsville, formerly of Greenville passed away at her residence Wednesday, May 1t, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Born February 18, 1938, the daughter of Henry Ellis Hope and Irene Lee Hope. Joyce was a housewife and homemaker and a member of Hopkinsville Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed her many collections and various crafting projects throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son-in-law Jerry D. Vick, and one brother, Edwin V. Hope, who died in infancy.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Donald L. Cook of Hopkinsville; one daughter, Karen L. Vick of Hopkinsville; one son Timothy A. Cook, of Indianapolis, Ind..; one sister, Marjorie H. Jones of Greenville; one sister-in-law, Betty Carol Mayes of Evansville, Inf.; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
All services will be private.
Gary’s Funeral Home of Greenville has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Cook and is in charge of arrangements.
