GREENVILLE – E.P. Doom, Jr., 89, of Greenville, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 7:50 p.m. at his residence. Bborn October 16, 1934, in Central City, he was a tobacco farmer, and also worked at Caterpillar as a machinist. He was a U.S. Army veteran and of the Christian faith. He enjoyed watching sports. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldine Arnold and Mary Lou Richey; and brothers, Raleigh Doom and Ray Doom.
Survivors incude his son, Michael Doom; daughter-in-law, Jamie Doom; grandson, Dillon Doom; granddaughter Rachael Doom; great-grandchildren, Bently, Bailey, Na’riah, Emmitt, and Elijah; brother, Kenneth Doom; and sister-in-law, Jenny Doom.
Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City, with Bro. Jerry Sweeney officiating. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
