GREENVILLE – Calvin Lee Davenport, Jr., 50, of Greenville, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born April 8, 1974 in Muhlenberg County. He was a member of Living Word Church, and he loved spending time with family, especially his grandson. An active Nascar and wrestling watcher, he loved his cars and blasting 80’s music in them; he always said it was the best music of all time. Most of all he loved the late-night trips to the gym with his daughter, and picking/cutting up with his girlfriend. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Lee Davenport Sr.
Survivors incude his mother, Voldine Davenport; sisters, Donna Morgan, and Vallerie Bratcher; children, Calvin Davenport III, and Brianna Davenport; girlfriend, Tonya James; one grandson ; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 6, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Pastor Josh Rich officiating. Burial will folllow in Fairmount Cemetery.
