Bernie Lee Crick, 78, of Greenville, died Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born November 22, 1942 in Muhlenberg County, the son of Jessie Crick and Helen Louise Rice Crick. He was a door gunner on a gun ship in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received two Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart, attaining the rank of Sergeant (T). He retired from TVA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harold Dean Crick.
Survivors include his son, Ryan Crick of Greenville; sister, Anna Jo Chandler of Greenville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. J. W. Haire officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Olive Grove Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 20 at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
