James Marion “Jim” Robinson, 81, of Greenville died Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his residence. Born January 20, 1942 in Greenville, the son of Elmer Robinson and Eula Carver Robinson. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and was stationed in Korea. He was retired from Supervalu and was a lifetime member of Woodland Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Sandra Gillaspie Robinson in 1997, three brothers Bill Robinson, Luke Robinson, Bob Robinson, and a sister Barbara Jean Driskill.
Survivors include son, Michael Robinson of White Plains; daughter, Melissa Howard of Owensboro; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and sister Ann Hill of Owensboro.
Graveside services will be private at Jackson Cemetery. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net
