BREMEN – Betty Jean Jones, 55, of Bremen, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky in Owensboro with family by her side. Born August 15, 1967 to the late William and Wanda Jones, she was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandkids, great-niece and nephew, family, and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Tamera McCorquodale.
Survivors include her daughter, Makayla Schaeffer of Central City; three grandchildren; brother, Dennis Jones of Central City; sister, Angie Bartley of Bremen; brother-in-law; aunt and caregiver; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery.
