CENTRAL CITY – Dewey Denzil Griffin, 73, of Central City, died Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital. Born July 28, 1949 in Browning, Ky. he was a Professional Gambler and Pool Player. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Elaine Griffin and his parents, Dewey Griffin and Alva Alverson.
Survivors include his children, Dale Griffin, Nicole Coopwood, and Brittany Daniel; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna McGehee and Mary Smith; brothers, William Miller and Doug Miller; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 3, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Curtis McGhee officiating. Visitation will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
