BROWDER – Rodney Allen Lear, 56, of Browder, died Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2:55 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born May 16, 1966 in Greenville, he loved riding his motorcycle, helping coach Special Olympics, fishing, binge watching tv, and visiting with friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hueston and Linda Dickerson; and paternal grandparents, Robert, and Thelma Lear.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Knight Lear; children, Hannah Daughtery, John Buchanan, Josh Lear, Elizah Groves, Emmali Lear, and Timmy Buchanan; 12 grandchildren; sister, Lisa (Alton) Gaines; nephews, Ethan Gaines, and Aden Gaines; father, Wayne (Reba) Lear; and mother, Patsy Lear.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Roger Heltsley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
