Mary Elizabeth Shemwell Beierlein, 78, of Greenville, died Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Maple Health in Greenville. Born August 10, 1945 in Beech Creek,, the daughter of Clarice Shemwell. She was a nurse and worked at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital and at Sparks Nursing Home in Central City. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Bud Beierlein in 2002 and her mother.
Survivors include her family Gerri McIntosh, Dan Wakeland, Greg Dietrich, and Kristy McIntosh Johnson all of Greenville; nephews Grayson, Colton, Cooper, and Grant Dietrich.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Bro. Tim Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10 at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
