SOUTH CARROLLTON – Harry L. Neal, Jr., 77, of South Carrollton, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born December 31, 1945 in Muhlenberg County, he was a mechanic for Island Creek Coal, was of the Baptist faith and was a U S Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Dorothy J. Neal; parents, Harry, and Harriett Neal; brothers, Jimmy Neal, David Neal; sister, Sue Mae Cunningham; and daughter, Catrina Neal.
Survivors include his son, Jason Pointer; daughter, Elizabeth Brooke Neal; brothers, Phillip Neal, Matt Neal; sisters, Reba Oldham, Mary Jo Lynch, Bobbi Zemo; several nieces and nephews; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Mike Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
