Anne (DeArmond) Stuart, a former resident of Greenville (for over 60 years), died Monday, February 5, 2024 in Leesburg Fla. at the home of her daughter after a short illness. Born July 26, 1931, she was the daughter of Alvin S. and Ethel (Wells) DeArmond of Belton.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville for over 60 years and blessed by dear friends at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She served in numerous ministries at First Baptist – Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, Church Secretary, Assistant Pianist, Kitchen Committee and was a founding member of The Young At Heart. She had many friends and cherished her relationships. She owned a day care (For Kids Only) for several years where she was known as Ms. Anne.
Survivors include six children Jim (Martha), Dianne Voss (Dale), Gary (Cindy), Keith (Cynthia), Bryan (Kellie) and Mary Gallrein. She was also blessed with 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great, great-grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Chapel followed immediately by a Memorial Service. She will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery. Samaritans Purse will be honored to accept memorial contributions.
