GREENVILLE—Roger Dale Phillips, 73, of Crofton, died Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his residence. Born August 26, 1950 in Greenville, the son of Erix Phillips and Opal Arms Phillips. He was a drywall finisher for many years and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Elroy Phillips, James L. Phillips, and Erix Darrell Phillips, and four sisters Lillian Phillips Richey, Maxine Phillips, Marvine McMasters, and Carolyn Phillips.
Survivors include one son Christopher Phillips; four grandchildren; one brother Grant Phillips of White Plains; one sister Willodean Porter of Fayetteville, N.C.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 15. 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Cave Springs Cemetery conducted by Rev. Troy Grant Phillips. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
