CENTRAL CITY – Willa Dean Daugherty, 78, of Central City, died Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 12:50 p.m. at her residence in Central City. Born December 3, 1945 in Muhlenberg County, she was an animal lover. She enjoyed going out dancing and listening to music. She was crazy about Elvis Presley. In any situation, you would hear her cracking jokes. Above all, she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Herman Hoggard Allen; brother Ralph; and three sisters Emma, Jonell, and Connie.
Survivors include her sons William Daugherty, and Raymond Daugherty; daughters Leona Daugherty, Louise Joines, Ruthann Brewer, and Renee Doss; 13 grandkids Melissa, Michael, Jo, Chancie, Travis, Haley, Matt, Ciarra, Leticia, Juan, Miguel, Addy, and Angela; 15 great-grandkids with one on the way; sisters Mary Landreth, and Loretta Piper; and brother Roger Allen.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jared Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
