CENTRAL CITY – Thelma Francis Sadler, 74, of Central City died Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:54 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born April 5, 1949 in Muhlenberg County, she was a Homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Bennie Sadler Sr.; parents James and Janie Wood; brother Terry Wood; grandson James Bourne; and great-grandson Bentley Hunter.
Survivors include her children Nancy Medford, Bennie (Stephanie) Sadler Jr., and Christie Vincent; grandchildren Casey Bourne, Skylar Baker, Dwight Hunter Jr., Ashley Phelps, Erika Traore, Zachary Sadler, Hailey Sadler, and Brandon Luttrell; 19 great-grandchildren; and brothers James T. Wood, and Donnie Wood.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Markus Hardison officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
