BELTON – Sarah Delana Brumley Piper, 87, of Belton, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her home. Born February 4, 1934, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Moriah Church of Christ. She loved to spend time in her garden. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and she enjoyed cooking and canning. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ethel Brumley; son Dennis Piper; and husband James W. Piper.
Survivors include her sons, Terry Piper, Ricky Piper, Dale (Gloria) Piper, Gary Piper, Brian Piper, Larry Piper, and James Piper; sisters Wilma (Gilbert) Stanley, Barbara Beliles, Dona Hardison, and Judy Mercer and 104 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 21, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Olan Revlett officiating, assisted by Bro. Ross Conley. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Capacity and mask guidelines will comply with current state health and public safety directives.
