MADISONVILLE – Robert “Bobby” Lewis Hadley, loving husband, father, brother, and son, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at 3:37 p.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Born June 4, 1967 in Greenville to Randall and Billie Hadley, he graduated from Greenville High School in 1985. He then went on to serve honorably with the United States Navy for the next four years, serving as a Field Medic. During this time, he earned a National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Fleet Marine Force Ribbon. Bobby met Dodie on a blind date in 2006 and they were married in 2008. Two years later, they adopted a beautiful little girl, Morgan. Bobby later attended the police academy in Richmond, Ky. and then served as a police officer in Hopkinsville, Dawson Springs, and Providence. Bobby loved UK basketball and college football. He had a loving and contagious smile, kind heart, and a beautiful soul. He was a member of Church of Christ in Madisonville.
Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arvel and Willie “Bill” Newman and paternal grandparents, Lewis and Arlene Hadley.
Survivors include his wife, Dodie Brewer Hadley; daughter, Morgan Hadley; brother, Chad (Amy) Hadley; sister, Miranda Hadley (Johnny Martin); parents, Randall and Billie Hadley; nieces, Eden Hadley, Madison Johnson, Reagan Johnson, Brittany (Aaron) Harper, and Erin Brewer; nephew, Paden Hadley; brother-in-law, Tommy Dwayne Brewer; and sister-in-law, Dr. Lisa Brewer.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Russell Kline officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
