Tony William Ward, 62, of Graham, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Heartford House in Owensboro. Born January 17, 1961 in Muhlenberg County, the son of the late William Ward and Bonnie Mae Groves Ward. He was a self-employed plumber and was a member of New Hope Holiness Church in Dawson Springs. He enjoyed playing in bands and played the bass guitar and sang. He loved his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his five children, son Tony Jason “T J” Ward of Greenville, son Jeremy “Pooter” (Sarah) Ward of Madisonville, daughter Jillian “Jillybean” Ward of Greenville, and daughter Chelsea “Lil’ Bit” Ward of Beech Creek; step-daughter Melissa “Mel” (Zach) Latham of Newburg, Ind.; five grandchildren Madelyn Ward, Lillian Ward, Lucy Ward, Emily Ward and Lacy Ward; five brothers Lonnie (Donna) Ward of Dawson Springs, Jeff (Donna) Ward of Franklin, Ky., Eddie (Christina) Ward of Nortonville, Steve (Renee) Ward of Graham, and Jimmy Dean Ward of Greenville; and one sister Faye Groves of Greenville.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, with Pastor Doug Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Hill Cemetery in Depoy. Visitation will be Friday, September 22 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
