CENTRAL CITY – Ora Agnes Sallee Pointer, 88, of Central City died Monday, January 15, 2024 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born September 5, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, she was a homemaker and member of Lifeway Church. Ms. Pointer loved working in the flowers, bingo, bunco, taking care of family and watching hummingbirds on the front porch. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter “Rusty” Pointer; son Ray Franklin Pointer; brothers Truman Sallee and Jay Sallee; sister Ruby Cobb; granddaughter Misty Wood; grandson Jason Wood; parents Burgess and Rethal Sallee.
Survivors include her children, Teresa Delaine Pointer, Rita Gail (Alvis) Pointer, Ann Pointer, Tracy (Jimmy) Fraze and Heather Pointer; twelve grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and twenty-six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jared Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
