BREMEN – Roger Brian Risinger, 62, of Bremen passed peacefully, Monday, January 15, 2024 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born September 6, 1961 to the late John and Ruby Risinger in St. Louis, Missouri, he was a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church and was disabled from working. Roger was also preceded in death by four brothers, David, Wayne, Danny, and Stanley; one sister Patsy and a son-in-law Jon Hardin. Roger was a skilled carpenter, could play the guitar, trumpet, and saxophone. He was known for his amazing singing voice and loved to sing with his family.
Roger was married to his loving wife Tonya Leady Risinger for almost 45 years. They raised a beautiful family together. Four beautiful daughters Amanda (John) Lindsey, Amber Norris (Matt Capps), Angel (Kris) Bailey, and Autumn Hardin. He had seven wonderful grandkids, Landon, Brian, Abbigail, Noelan, Audriana, Jaxson and Alexander all of whom adored their Pappy. He is also survived by a sister Kathy Marsala.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Larry Hamby officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen.
