Central City – Marilyn Kaye Markwell, 71 of Central City died Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her residence. Born September 20, 1949 in Owensboro, she was a Homemaker and a Member of Promise Seekers Church. She was preceded in death by her son Glenn Basham, Parents Hubert and Mary Neal, brothers James Myers, Ronald Neal, and Bobby Neal, sisters Rita Brown, and Betty Howard.
Survivors include her husband Billy Markwell; son Charles (Tonia) Basham; step-son Chris (Amy) Markwell; grandchildren Jon (Tiffany) Basham, and Justin Basham; great-grandchildren Aedon, Kade, and Oliver, and sister Margie Yursco.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Steve McElvain officiating. Burial will follow in New Life Cemetery in Powderly.
