LEITCHFIELD – Kenneth Wayne Edwards, 92, of Leitchfield, died Monday, May 3, 2021 at Breckinridge Memorial Health. Born August 2, 1928 in Martwick, he was a member of Little Clifty Baptist Church and a self-employed floor contractor. He was preceded in death by his sons Gerald Edwards, Sr., Steven Edwards, Sr.; grandson Troy Hess; parents Julius and Thelma Edwards; brothers Billy Edwards, Bobby Gene Edwards and Randal Edwards.
Survivors include his wife Charlotte Wheeler Edwards; daughter Sheila Hess, Denny Childers, Tracy (Doug) Hardesty; son Eric Edwards; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sisters Joanna Davis and Brenda Eversole; brother Jack (Donna) Edwards.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Bro. Gerry Odenthal will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2021 after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Tucker Funeral is in charge of the arrangements.
