WHITE PLAINS – Julie Marie Sawyer, 40, of White Plains, died Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 5:56 a.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Born June 25, 1983 in Hopkins County, she was a member of Rainbow Light Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Loretta Cobb; and grandparents M.C. and Marie Cobb, J.W. Cobb, and Lucy Sparks.
Survivors include her husband W.T. Sawyer; brother Spurlin (Sarah) Cobb; sister Cindy Cobb; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. S.T. Groves, Bro. Floyd Steele, Bro. Silas Cobb, and Pastor Anna Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in Yeargins Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
