BELTON- Catherine Imogene Eaden Miller. As of February 12, 2021, a beautiful soul who held the special places in people’s lives as daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, teacher, mentor, friend and who so many considered “such a sweet lady”, has been called home to our heavenly father. Imogene graduated from Hughes-Kirk High School, Western Kentucky University, and then went on to teach at Hughes-Kirk for 34 years. She attended Hazel Creek Church and Beechmont Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Carley and Loretta (Renfrow) Eaden. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Roger Eaden and Ralph Eaden, sisters; Mary Jarvis and Aretha Horn; her first husband, Roy Miller, Sr.; second husband, William Brown; son, Roy Miller, Jr.; grandsons, Patrick Lee Miller and David Blake.
She loved working in her flower gardens, reading, writing and singing in the choir at church. She made great strides in her life to make sure she made changes in the minds and lives of the children in her classes. When she wasn’t caring for her family, she was trying to make a difference in the community. This little lady had a big voice and a bright light that touched so many lives. We will all truly miss her larger than life personality, and the love she had to give. Thank you for all of your work here on earth, now it’s time for your soul to rest!
Survivors include her son, Timothy (Jeanie) Miller; daughter, Yvonne (Neal) Travis; grandchildren; John (Shannon) Miller, Joshua Miller, Jason (Susie) Blake, James Miller, Angela (Samuel) Williams, Angel Kirkland, Angie (Kevin) Sampson, Jamie (Serena) Travis, Joey (Amanda) Travis, Jeff (Deann) Travis; 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
