Betty June Snyder, 81, of Greenville, died Monday, September 5, 2022 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 27, 1941 in Greenville, the daughter of Floyd R. Lee and Mary Francis Lee. Ms. Snyder had worked in housekeeping at the Convention Center Inn in Greenville, and she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years James Albert Snyder, her daughter Sandy O’Bannon, and four brothers Cecil, Jimmy, Donnie, and Darrell Lee .
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Pointer of Greenville; three granddaughters; one grandson; eight great grandchildren; sister, Helen White of Riverside, Calif.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville officiated by Rev. Kyle Noffsinger. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 7 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of funeral at Gary’s Funeral Home.
