DRAKESBORO – Tommy Lee Pendley, 68 of Drakesboro, went home to be with his Savior our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Baptist Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville. Born December 28, 1955, in Greenville. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, was saved when he was five years old, and baptized by his father. He enjoyed his German Shephard’s and his cat Booger; he loved seeing things grow by spending time raising a garden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan L Pendley, his father Rev. Carl Pendley, and nephew Matthew Libs.
Survivors incude his mother Maymee Pendley; sister Karyl Lu Libs (Phillip) of Versailles; brother-in-law Robin Wolfe (Vicky) of Beechmont; nephews Adam Libs (Marina) of Boulder Colorado, Kris Wolfe (Kelsey) of Owensboro, and Matthew Wolfe (Christine) of Bremen.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday March 14 from 5-8 p.m., and Friday March 15th from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank all those who offered prayer for Tommy, and special friend Patricia Pendley, and neighbors John Saye and Tom Sumner for all they did for Tommy during this time.
