Robert Lewis Shenfish, 57, of Greenville, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his residence. Born February 11, 1966 in Hunstville, Ala., the son of the late Kenneth Leroy Shenfish and Edna Hoffman Shenfish. He was retired from the United States Navy and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy La Fay Dukeminier of Greenville; step-daughter, Donna Sanchez of Athens, Ala.; step-sons, Roger Borden of Decatur, Ala. and Jimmy Borden of Decatur, Ala.; eight step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Shenfish of Fla.; sisters, Debra Shenfish Dinon of Athens, Ala., Cindy Cole of Tenn. and Valerie Shenfish of Athens, Ala.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, with Rev. Mike Graber officiating. Burial with military honors will be at 2:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8 at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
