GREENVILLE – Robert Franklin Peace, 83, of Greenville, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born August 15, 1938, in Arma, Kansas. He was co-owner of H&R Block, and a retired coal miner with Peabody Coal Co. He was a member of the Elkton Road Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Bertha Peace; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife, LaMarilus Stoddard Peace; daughters, RaVae (Tim) Dorris of Dunmor, Teresa (Mike) Ashley of Greenville, and Debi (Everett) Melton of Marion; son, Bobby (Melinda) Peace of Greenville; grandchildren, JoLyn Dorris, Jamie Payne, Matt (Casey) Fields, Colton (Carrie) Fields, LaReesa Melton, Ryan Dunning, Nathan (Ashley) Peace, Blake Peace, BJ (Shelly) Peace, Stephanie Peace, Johnna Fitch, and Kayla Henry; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Mr. Bill Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Dunmor Community Cemetery.
