BREMEN- Richard Thomas Pointer, 48, of Bremen died Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born July 16, 1973 in Muhlenberg County. He was a truck driver and a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish, and most importantly loved spending time with his grandson, Treyton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Cathy Pointer.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia Pointer of Bremen; son, Christopher Hopkins of Bremen; daughter, Kacy (fiancé Rick Harbour) Hopkins of Bremen; brother, George (Tracy) Pointer of Hanson; grandson, Treyton Harbour of Bremen; niece, Hailey Harn of Hanson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Cody Crowell officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
