Larry Dale Porter

Larry Dale Porter, 71, of Greenville, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Born November 30, 1949 in Greenville, the son of Lawrence Porter and Reva Nell Strader Porter.  He was a member of the Church of Christ in Greenville and he retired in 1998 from the 62 Pawn and Trade Center that he owned and operated for eleven years in Central City. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Todd Albro.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Deborah Ann Majors Porter of Greenville; sister Rebecca Faye Albro of Greenville and a great niece Marlo Albro of Madisonville.

Graveside services will be Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating.  Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Larry’s honor to the Muhlenberg County Humane Society, P.O. Box 164, 615 Muhlenberg Drive, Greenville, KY 42345.
