Jesse Cecil Busick, 75, of Greenville, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at his residence. Born December, 26, 1946 in Baxter Springs, Kansas, the son of William Busick and Wilma Ruth Sills Busick. He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the Air Force and a UMWA coal miner retiring in 2012, having worked at several strip mines in the area. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Billy Wayne Busick in 2001.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Kay Busick of Greenville; son, Douglas (Lisa) Busick of Central City; mother, Wilma Ruth Busick of Greenville; sister, Helen Ruth (Gaynam) Rackstraw of Clewiston, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Tom Stovall officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be Sunday, November 27 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
