CENTRAL CITY- Jane Carol Mitchell, 76, of Central City died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born February 15, 1947 in Muhlenberg County where she lived as a homemaker, Mrs. Mitchell loved Kentucky basketball and her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Lois Young; sister Lou Ann Young.
Survivors include her husband Roger Mitchell; sons Jeff (Lisa) Mitchell, Kevin (Kathryn) Mitchell; grandchildren Devin (Annie) Mitchell, Sage Mitchell, Claire Mitchell; great grandchild Walker Mitchell.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church in Central City. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
