CENTRAL CITY – James A. Collier, 51, of Central City died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 9:47 p.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born May 5, 1972 in Greenville. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and worked for Perdue Farms. He enjoyed Harley Motorcycles and his GTO put a smile on his face. He was very faithful to his church and the God that he served. He loved going on long motorcycle rides with his friends for charity benefits. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Collier.
Survivors include his father, Buddy Collier of Central City; sister, Stacy Forgy of Belton; and niece and nephew, Cynthia, and Nathanael Forgy.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Central City with Bro. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
