Lendal Terry Jones, 73, of Elizabethtown, died on Saturday, April 13, 2024 in Hardin County Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, Ky.. Born in Detroit, Michigan on March 2, 1951, the son of Clifton Jones and Wilma Lear Jones. He had been a Youth Worker for the Department of Juvenile Justice in Elizabethtown, and he was a member of Lilac Road Church of Christ Church in Leitchfield, KY.
He was preceded in death by his father and a son Ronnie Wade Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home conducted by Bro. Freddie Allen Jones, Jr. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Church Cemetery in Greenville.
Survivors. include his wife of 17 years, Jeanie Alford Jones of Elizabethtown; mother, Wilma Lear Jones of Elizabethtown; one son, Gary Jones of Leitchfield; one step-son, Aaron Crowder of Leitchfield; one step-daughter, Rhonda Clemons of Clarkson; one brother, Derek Jones of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; nine step-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
