POWDERLY – Freda Mae Lovell, 85, of Powderly, died Thursday, January 18, 2024 at her residence. Born August 8, 1938 in Muhlenberg County, she was homemaker and member of Mercer Baptist Church. She loved to watch KY basketball and baseball and loved quilting. Freda also loved being with her grandkids, great grandkids and attending Mercer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Ray Lovell; sons Billy and Randy Lovell; parents Claudie Clemons and Beulah Kostka Clemons; brother Charles Clemons and sisters, Mary Marie and Catherine Clemons.
Survivors include her daughters Brenda (Bobby) Buchanan and Wanda (Chuck) Luckett; five grandkids; 21 great grandkids and seven great-great grandkids.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ron Noffsinger officiating at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneral homes.com
