WHITE PLAINS – Donda “Donnie” Wayne Harvey (“Daniel Boone”), 72, of White Plains passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born October 25, 1949, to the late Thelma and Garland M. Harvey Sr. He was a coal truck driver for Whitaker Trucking for most of his life until he retired in 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy B. Mayes Harvey; brother, Garland Harvey, Jr.; stepchildren, Peggy (Jim) Pleasant, Roger (Serina) Majors, Joyce (David) Dugan, and Tommy (Meadow) Majors.
Survivors include his brothers, Robert Harvey, Paul Harvey, Elgon Harvey, and sister, Maudie Williams, stepchildren: Kathryn Hamilton, Pamela Earl, Phyllis Phelps, Jessie Majors and David Harvey, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of cousins that loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Dwight Cox officiating and Elgon Harvey assisting. Burial will follow at Mt.
