CENTRAL CITY – Debbie Jones, 67, of Central City, died Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born July 8, 1954, in Hopkins County. She was a homemaker and member of Church Street General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Euralee Holland; brothers, Texal Holland and Jewell Holland; and sisters, Brenda Schimpf and Jean McCormick.
Survivors include her daughters, Jamie Higgs and Janice Jones; grandchildren, Summer, Jasmine, Destiny, April, Bradley, Byron, Ragan, and Carly; great-grandchildren, Dayton and Davian; sisters, Ann Mullins and Shirle Bryant; and brothers, Jerry Holland, Billy (Jane) Holland, Jimmy (Carol) Holland, and Ricky (Shirley) Holland.
Memorial services will be Monday, March 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Danny Greene officiating. Visitation will be Monday after 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
