Darriel Fay Bivins, 81, of Bowling Green, formerly of Greenville, died Friday, May 27, 2022 at Bowling Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green. Born August 16, 1940 in Greenville, the son of Alvin Bivins and Lula Marie Dukes Bivins. He was a farmer all of his life, and a member of Landmark Assembly of God Church. He was the best dad and pappy to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jeffery Lynn Bivins, and three brothers Freddy Bivins, Donald Bivins, and Paul Ray Bivins.
Survivors include his son, Brian (Lisa) Bivins of Greenville; daughters, Sherry Moran of Bowling Green, and Shelia Bivins of Central City; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Glendel Bivins of Greenville; sisters, Lucille Willis of Greenville, Louise Morris of Greenville and Linda Shelton of Elkton.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Bro. Todd Bivins officiating. Private burial will be in Landmark Assembly of God Cemetery in Greenville. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
