CENTRAL CITY – Carolann Holland, 74, of Central City, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 5:53 a.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Born March 17, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pa., she was a janitor and lunch lady at Central City Elementary School, and a member of Church Street General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ann Soja.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Holland; children, Jimmy (Angie) Holland, Jr., Chris (Missy) Holland, Melissa Terrell, and Brianna Holland; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Danny Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
