Carl Junior Jones. 78, of Madisonville, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his residence. Born August 14, 1944 in Muhlenberg County, the son of the late Rhea Jones and Ethel Rhoads Jones. Carl worked as a steel mill worker from 1976-2001 when he retired and returned home to Kentucky where he was raised. He was preceded in death by two brothers Harold Jones and Harlan Jones and a sister Dorothy Jones Gossett.
Survivors include his brother, Jerry W. Jones; a sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will Saturday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Rev. Curtis McGehee. Burial will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 31 at Gary’s Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral.
