DRAKESBORO – Betty Gean Hardison, 72, of Drakesboro,, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her residence. Born May 26, 1948 in Muhlenberg County, she was a homemaker and member of Christ of Calvary Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Hardison; parents Getta (Mildred) Bratcher; brothers Jeffery and Bobby Bratcher; sisters Maryneil Vick, Linda Houle and Vicky Brewer.
Survivors include her daughters Polly Lear, Mary (Tony) Hamby and Pam Coble; son Kenny (Michelle) Lear; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers James (Virginia) Bratcher, Jerry (Jeanette) Bratcher, Billy (Lutie) Bratcher, Harold (Carolyn) Bratcher, Tommy (Debbie) Bratcher and Ricky “Cricket” Bratcher; sister Carolyn (Keith) Whitaker.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, KY with Bro. Marcus Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 2021 after 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family has entrusted Tucker Funeral Home with the arrangements.
