Greenville – Alvis Joe Langley, 86, of Greenville died Friday, July 1, 2022, at his residence. Born June 28, 1936, in Muhlenberg County, he was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Drakesboro. He was a retired electrician for Signode and a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Langley was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lou Langley, parents, Alvis B. and Mary Langley, son, William Anthony Langley, daughter, Shirl Rene Langley, brother, James Langley and Sherman Langley, and sister Anabelle Langley.
Survivors include his sons, Joe Dewayne Langley, and James Alvis Langley; daughter, Betty Lou Langley; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Roberta, Louise and Georgia Faye; brothers, William and Tim; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will Tuesday July 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Drakesboro with Philip Garrett officiating and Bro. Scott Casebier assisting.
