GREENVILLE – Wilma June Wilcox, 93, of Greenville, died Monday, February 12, 2024 at 6:00 a.m. at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville. Born February 28, 1930 to Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Bates in Muhlenberg County. She was a long-time salesperson at Kirtley’s Furniture in Central City and an Event Planner for Christmas Around the World. She won many exciting trips overseas with her business. She was a member of Central City First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold E. Wilcox; two sons, Ronnie Wilcox, and Walter Wilcox; daughter, Doris Robertson; and two sisters, Betty Moore, and Irene Duncan.
Survivors include her daughter Linda Wilcox Hunt of Greenville; granddaughter Jenifer Hunt of Greenville; grandson Josh (Camille) Hunt of Kevil; four great-grandchildren Carver Hunt, Kaysen Hunt, Harper Hunt, and Kobe Holder; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday February 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Kevin Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
