Viola Estell Gill, 97, of Greenville, died Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born February 20, 1924 in Muhlenberg County, the daughter of Arthur Jackson and Virgie Steele Jackson. She was a housewife and a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved to crochet and to be with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin Gill, four brothers, a sister, and a son-in-law Phillip Latham.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Latham of Greenville and Karen (Bud) Kirby of Greenville; thirteen grandchildren; thirty and two halves great grandchildren and one brother, Randall Jackson of California.
Graveside services will be Sunday May 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends attending should wear facial coverings and observe social distancing. There will be no visitation.
