Tricia “Patty” Dean Whitaker, 80 of Dunmor, Kentucky died Friday, September 25, 2020, at her residence in Dunmor. Born September 11, 1940 in Penrod, the daughter of the late William Garteen DeArmond and the late Susie Fleming DeArmond. She was the wife of the late J.I. Whitaker. She was employed by Muhlenberg County School System. Prior to that she was employed by Red Kap and she was a member of Dunmor Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy DeArmond and Darrell DeArmond, sister, Hazel Myers.
Surviviors include her son, Terry (Lana) Whitaker of Dunmor; sister, Velma Sue Jenkins of Lewisburg; several nieces, nephews and several cousins.
A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Dunmor Cemetery on Dunmor Cemetery Road with Bro. Jeremy Whitney officiating.Burial will follow.
