GREENVILLE – Sammy L. Holland, 78, of Greenville, died Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at his home. Born December 19, 1941, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Holland; mother Gertrude Wilcox; granddaughter Tiffany Holland; and great-grandchild Madison Eaves.
Survivors include his daughter, LeeAnn Eaves of Independence, Ky.; sons Kennedy Holland of Bremen, Stacy Holland of Ashland City, Tenn., and Jason Holland of Bremen; brothers Keith Holland of Greenville and Hugh Holland of Madisonville; sister Wanda Mercer of Greenville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be Friday, October 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.at Cherry Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Travis Fox officiating. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
