BEECH CREEK – Michael Ray Moore, 54, of Beech Creek, died Friday, October 8, 2021, at his home. Born April 13, 1967, in Cook County, Ill.. He worked at T & M Construction and was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed working, spending time with his grandchildren, and riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Marilyn Moore; and sister Darlene Moore.
Survivors include his son, Derrick (Donna) Moore of Greenville; daughter Chelsie (Michael) Groves of Central City; grandchildren Jaxson Moore, Alex Moore, Karson Groves, Logan Groves, Lucas Groves, and Ava Groves; step-grandchild Hadley Woodward; sister Sandra (Doug) Garrett; brother Freddie (Terri) Moore and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 11, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Bobby Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Wyatts Chapel Cemetery.
