Leffa Martine Mason, 90, died Monday, April 26, 2021 in Corydon, Ind. Born September 28, 1930 in Central City, the daughter of Robert and Virginia Geary Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mason, Jr.; her infant son, Bobby and infant daughter, Beverly; her brother, Calvin Ward Butler; her sisters, Anna Faye Meredith, Josephine Raymer, and infant sister Japaline Butler; granddaughters, Audrey and Nova Mason.
Survivors include her son, Sam Mason of Corydon, Ind.; sisters, Janelle Woods of Griffin, Ga., Carolyn McFarland of Bartlett, Tenn., Judy Christol of Owensboro, and Theresa Joyce Fangman of Jeffersonville, Ind.; 2 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Randy Kirk will officiate. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donation to Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville or Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
