DUNMOR – John Christopher Buchanan, 55, of Dunmor, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his home. Born September 13, 1965, in Logan County. He was a retired saw mill worker. He was preceded in death by his father, William Buchanan and mother Naomi Buchanan Saddler.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Hunt Buchanan; daughter Jessica (Dink) Fleming; sons Christopher (Vicki) Buchanan, John (Jessie) Buchanan, and Cody (Shannon) Buchanan; grandchildren Jade Buchanan, Caddy Boyd, Raven Buchanan, Jazz Buchanan, Noah Fleming, Emma Fleming, Nevaeh Smith, Delilah Buchanan, Remington Buchanan, Ava Buchanan, and J.D. Buchanan; brothers Alvin Buchanan, Leslie Buchanan, and Tommy Long and step-father Charles Saddler.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Jeremy Jolly officiating. Burial will follow in Buchanan Family Cemetery in Dunmor. Visitation will be Friday after10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
