Jimmy Wayne “Buck” Buchanan, 82, of Lake Malone, died Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home under Hospice care with family and friends at his side. Born September 21, 1939 in Greenville, the son of Wilbur R. Buchanan and Elizabeth Ramage Buchanan. He was a retired coal miner, he enjoyed playing cards and pool, and he loved his pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jimmy Lee Buchanan, and a daughter Jana Lee Buchanan.
Survivors include a son Dustin Buchanan of Denver, Colo.; sister, Joanna Fitzpatrick of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; aunt, Eula Hankins of Dunmor; niece, Elizabeth Jones of Hermitage, Tenn. and many cousins and beloved friends.
